They just couldn’t justify the cost anymore.
Why this happens:
They found a cheaper alternative
Their budget shrank
Your pricing didn’t match their usage
Fix it:
Introduce usage-based pricing
Offer annual plans with discounts
Add low-touch or “lite” plans for low-usage customers
Not everyone leaves because your product sucks.
